Back to Work

Unfortunately, the vacation is over for me as classes start tomorrow. Actually they started today but I don't have class on monday. I also have friday off for the first half of the semester and thursday off for the second half. Before you judge me for taking that schedule, I actually took the classes I needed and it ended up working out this way. I didn't even realize it until after I had finished scheduling. I am taking Christianity and Islam, Accountancy in the UK, Social and Cognitive Development, Macroeconomic Analysis, and Images of Britain through the Arts in which I am taking two segments concerning Shakespeare's Theatre and Trafalgar Square. I'm not quite sure about Social and Cognitive Development because it's a 400 level psychology class and I've never had a psychology class. But hey, at least it will be something new. A friend of mine is in the class and is also a psychology major so that comforts me a little.

Today was pretty relaxing. I got to sleep in which was very much needed. Later on, I went out to Lunch with a friend that I met this summer when I was in Germany. We were in the same class over there and it turns out he goes to law school within walking distance of my flat. I had one of my first tastes of real British food. I had a meat pie. I was pleasantly surprised by it though. It was just like a bowl of really beefy stew covered with a bread crust. It was very filling, which is nice when you're cheap like me and want to buy as little food as possible.

Tomorrow should be a long day. I have Christianity & Islam class at 10:45, then a break at noon for lunch, then a second helping of Christianity & Islam until 2. At 2:15 I have Accountancy in the UK which is tought with the help of the London branch of Price Waterhouse Coopers. Suppossedly, it only meets 6 times throughout the semester with the rest of the work being directed readings. I do have to write a 20 pager for that class though so I'm sure I'll be complaining about that soon enough. That class goes till 5 and then in the evening I am going to a performance of A Midsummernights Dream for my Shakespeare Theatre Class. I've never seen a professional performance like this so it I'm looking forward to it. Well that's enough for now,I  hope everyone is doing well!

We are reading Midsummer Night's Dream in my Shakespeare class right now, and are later going to Chicago for a presentation of Hamlet, or Macbeth, I can't remember which. In either case, look how cool we are, doing the same sort of stuff, though one in a way cooler location! South Bend! ...Oh...wait... London's definitely cooler.

@Matt: Dude it was really good. Bottom is the man. And south bend is actually cooler, in the literal sense at least.

@Kyle: Well thats what happens when your fingers move faster than your brain and spell things out phonetically on their own. It's weird I know.
